I entered in his apartment, which looked like any other well made up room. With the kitchen opening up to the living room, and the TV was off with a fire burning in the fire place. I looked towards the dining section of the room seeing a candlelight dinner with the dishes smartly placed together, and his special pasta on them. He sat me down, and took the seat next to me. We ate in almost silence other then the usual small talk. We finished and cleaned up the dishes together happily, "please Violet let me finish this up alright, and I want you to relax," he said to me and grabbed the dish rag. I flicked my wet fingers at his face, and he smiled noticing that I was in a playful mood.
"I love you," I said and smiled.
His face froze and he grinned, I almost covered my mouth noticing that I said my feelings aloud. "So you love me eh!" he rushed in a kiss. I giggled, and held me close getting my back wet with his hands. "Alright now sit yourself down, and relax alright," he said and kissed me again.
I stepped back and walked myself out of the kitchen section. I sat myself on his couch and watched the fire in silence.
"You can turn on the stereo if you want," Zach said from his kitchen.
"No thanks I kinda want things to be quiet," I replied and smiled over my shoulder.
He smiled back and continued on cleaning.
I listened to the constant rushing water, and the clicks of dishes being placed in the washer. When he finished he walked up and sat next to me.
"So what was it you wanted to ask me?" I asked and he placed his arm around my shoulders, and his hand on my knee.
"I was wondering if you wanted to move in with me?" he asked me and stared hopeful in my eyes. I looked down at his muscular chest and how it glowed with the fire. His smile dazzled itself with the fire, and somehow I thought that he was Zero. I knew it was impossible because being a super you never have time to prepare dinner like that and to act so nonchalant as he always did.
The only thing I considered about moving in was hiding all of my Invisiblegirl stuff. So that means that I would have to be extra careful with this. Or else if somehow he would find out who I am before any of this.
I smiled, and replied, "of course I will!"
His grin grew bigger, and he hugged me closer. "Thank god you responded or else I was going to have a heart attack!" he replied happily and stared at the fire as if in a rapid mood swing and seemed serious.
"Zach why so serious now?" I asked staring at the shadows of his angular face structure.
"Nothing just thinking about how we are going to do this," he smiled, and continued to stare at the fire.
I stared a him quizzical noticing that this is one of his puzzles that I had to figure out. "Like where I am going to put my stuff?" I asked him, and placed my hand against his chest and rested my head on his shoulder. He moved his body in a more relaxed way in the couch, and I moved myself with him.
He finally replied, "yeah I have a lot of things that shouldn't really be tampered with, and some storage adjustments."
"What if you moved in with me?" I asked hoping so then I wouldn't have to move any of my stuff around.
"Well it would be kinda hard because my apartment is almost unsellable with the adjustments I had on it." He said and rubbed his eyes with his spare hand that was on my knee. He placed his hand back on and traced circles with his fingers.
"So then I'll just move in with you then my apartment shouldn't be that hard to sell since I have only been living in it for the past year," I replied.
"Yeah I have been living here for four years now, and you know that my building is closer to your work building anyways." He replied and smiled.
"Then it's a deal, but how bout this I move in gradually enough so we can make space in the process," I replied and smiled.
"That is a good idea," he replied and kissed me.
I kissed back, and his body coaxed me to lay on the couch.
